The only thing useful right now is a newly translated English shop manual.\u00a0 It’s a bit fugly but I hope to clean it up at some point\u00a0<\/div>\n
The manual can be downloaded here<\/a>.\u00a0 I tried to print out a few pages and realized I had the size all fubar’d up for printing.\u00a0 It scaled best to A4 paper size so if you want to print it then get some A4 paper and download this file<\/a>.<\/div>\n

The current project is finishing up installing a Rostra cruise control and a 9″ Android radio\/backup camera.\u00a0 The radio is in but one of the front speakers is bad.\u00a0 I just got a pair in and will fix this weekend.\u00a0 The cruise control is installed but not working because I couldn’t locate the speed signal wire.\u00a0 Now that I have english language docs I had no problem locating it.\u00a0 I’ve confirmed the signal is correct with an\u00a0 oscilloscope and can get that completed.\u00a0 I’ll post the FunCargo specific parts of that project.\u00a0 Rostra has really good docs so no point in being redundant on what they’ve already done well.<\/div>\n

My next project (anxiously awaiting Amazon for parts)\u00a0 is setting up hand controls for throttle and brakes.\u00a0 On of my best friends has knees that bend very little and can’t drive a car.\u00a0 He can’t even get in and out of the normal drivers side but can get in\u00a0 a RHD FunCargo.\u00a0 I’ve got some steering servo’s and controllers coming in and am working on the design for the user interface and mounting.\u00a0 Haven’t done much machine design lately but I did make a living at it for 20 years.\u00a0 Feels good to get back into it.\u00a0 A nice diversion from the IT consulting that currently pays my bills.<\/div> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n\n
